I would either use white acrylic yarn and a 2.5 mm hook or fluffy yarn in white with rainbow speckles and a 2 or 2.5 mm hook.

Id use either:
- Acrylic yarn with a 3.5mm/4mm hook or id double strand and use a 4.5mm/5mm hook
- velvet yarn with a 3.5mm/4mm hook
- Skinny chenille with a 4mm/4.5mm hook
