I would use black worsted weight acrylic and a 3.75mm hook.

Oh my gosh, I would love to test for you! I’ve never tested before, but I’ve always wanted to. I would use Red Heart super saver yarn and a 4 mm hook.

I think I’d want to try a light purple yarn for this one (I usually use Red Heart or Loops & Threads worsted) and a 3.5mm or 4mm hook. I have a bunch of different colors though, and many friends who love bats, so I may do more than 1
