[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Waffles the Chunky Donkey

I need testers for my Waffles the Chunky Donkey - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: 2 weeks from start of test (I will pick testers in the next couple of days)

Skill Level: Beginner - mostly simple stitches with a little sewing and a couple of colour changes.

About the Pattern:

  • No-sew body base starts at the bottom of the feet and works up to the top of the head as a single piece, crocheting in the arms
  • Sewing required to attach hair, ears and tie
  • Approx. 20cm tall with DK yarn and 2.5mm hook, 35cm tall with chunky yarn and 4mm hook
  • Mix and match with my other Chunky and Pig patterns. For example, make yourself a koala school boy by using Milo the Chunky Koala to modify this pattern

If you’ve tested any of my recent chunky or pig patterns, the base of this pattern is identical. I also have many more patterns coming soon, all designed to be mixed and matched thanks to the shared base.

Additional Requirements:

  • You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. This is a great pattern to make using plush yarn!

  • The instructions include options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes, so do not worry if you do not have any safety eyes

  • You must be willing to provide feedback on any parts of the pattern that are unclear or if you spot any errors / typos

  • I would also like feedback on the level of difficulty.

  • A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished amigurumi.

  • If you would like to do a mashup with any of my other patterns, let me know in the comments.

Thanks for looking :grinning:

He is so adorable! I was looking for a good donkey pattern because I wanted to do it for my mom. I would like to test the donkey with Alize Velluto and a 7 mm hook. For start I would do just the donkey and if I have time I would do a mash up as well
