CLOSED Tester call for pattern-Crochet pattern: Fast Warm Slippers, multiple sizes

I need testers for my Fast Warm Slippers, multiple sizes - pattern-Crochet ePattern

I have had a pattern for these in my shop before, but just for my size. @craft3r101 wanted to learn to adjust the sizing (pattern grading) so between us, we created a larger size. I also made a smaller size and now have this ready to test.

The first pattern is no longer available, but if you had it in the past, it is your’s always. But, you may want this one also. Fine tuned a bit, and extra sizes. Maybe you could help me with the testing.

So, looking for testers. I need to know if I did the multiple sizes correctly so some for each sizes would be great. You can do more than one if you want.

I would like you to measure the length and width after finishing and before fitting on, if you could. Although measuring the foot it fits would be even better. No need to do a gauge swatch, just measure when you complete one and see how close you get.

I used a #6 super bulky yarn, specifically Bernat Softee Chunky, and an H 5.0 mm hook.

You can use other yarn and an appropriate hook, but sizing will be affected. This pattern is more to give you a base to work off of. So use what you have (bulky preferred) and see if you can make it work. Make sense?

No hurry to get them done, but being an easy pattern I would think 10 days would be plenty of time. The hardest part would be getting started? Maybe.

I will add testers later today. And add you to a tester group message. That way you can all see any changes I make if needed. No response at all will get you removed from testing. Testers completing will be gifted the pattern. This version will be for sale.

So, bulky yarn, by May 11th. Pick the size you are making on the cover page. Communicate through messages or chat, NOT through the journal. The journal is just for updating pictures. Please.

Got it; preferred journal use noted, as well. I’d love to help out if you’ll have me, would probably be testing medium to large sizes (no small feet here ). Have the yarn ready to go, too. :]

(Not sure if I was suppposed to reply here or send a message, but figured you’d redirect me if I was mistaken )

Perfect replying here. I was gonna wait to add people, but since I’m still here, trying to get caught up on the community, I will add you now.

Also, the small might not be too small. Maybe a size 6 womens ??? No idea really.

I might not be back on for a few hours so comment here and I will get you later.

Haha, sounds good!

(Will see if the little sister has any friends with a smaller size foot and see if I can maybe try all three ^.^)

That would be great. Either way actually. I only made one each so far, so I hope to finish the test with you all. After I get a little caught up with life.

You should have the pattern and the group message. If not, let me know.

I’d like to test if you need more testers!

That would be great. I added the pattern to your testing tab, and added you to the group message. Let me know if either didn’t work.
:tada:

(doubled up on this comment somehow. oops. Anyway, you should be good to go!. Thanks)

I’d be interested in testing for you. I’m about to test a bucket/roll brim hat, but can get a couple pair of these done this week as well! In different sizes. I’ve 41 years crocheting experience and as I’m disabled, I spend most of my time crocheting. :stuck_out_tongue::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
