One of my most simple patterns yet! I free handed this, and loved the result so I wanted to share!

A pot isn’t required to test, but that’s up to you. The end result is about 9 cm (bottom diameter), 12 cm (top diameter) and 9 cm tall, using weight 4 yarn and a 4.5 mm hook. It is pretty stretchy so the pot only needs to be approximately the same size
This pattern is worked in joined rnds, so keep that in mind before applying
You will be required to make a journal with the highest quality photo you can supply, but don’t leave suggestions there

Pretty ez. It you only need to know dc, hdc, sc, ch, and slst. The pattern walks you through the different stitches (ch 5 mesh, hdc moss stitch, and granny square clusters)
I used screen shots from 2 different projects because the first has journal entries already, the second one is a different project I’m still working on without any journal entries so far, you can also note in the second image that it shows you progress you have made for each journal entry, so you know what percentage you had completed when writing each entry both private entries and public.
