Interesting fact…
Florescent bulbs kill red tones. So a beautiful purple during the day will look blue at night if you have florescent bulbs in your home. A store that has very little natural light can result in you buying the perfect blue and going home to discover its purple.
It happens with other colors as well, but mostly with anything that has red in it (orange through violet on the color wheel)

just take it to the windows in the store, or even outside if it’s a small shop that will let you.
