So I just got commissioned to make 10 Kufi hats for my neighbor. She said if she likes those she would like to order……100! 
Let’s hope I make these first 10 amazing! And let’s hope she follows through. We are going yarn shopping tomorrow. Going to make 2 to start then the rest. I’m so blown away right now. I gave her a hat 2 years ago as a present and today this! Like wow!

Be sure to collect money from her along the way. For example, make 10 hats, give to her, and collect 100% of the money for those 10 hats.
Or require 65% deposit up front, with the rest to be paid upon delivery of 100 hats.
If neighbor not willing to do this, I would reconsider this commission.

This is so important. Its fine when you’re making the first ones. By 100 will you be bored /burnt out? Def factor everything when pricing. You are worth being properly compensated for your hard work.
