Tell her to make the blanket version! It’s written as a ten week make along to help motivate you. It’s also made in pieces and then crocheted together at the end so it’s nowhere near as complicated as it looks. (Shussshhhh though. Don’t tell whomever it is for. Make them think it was super tricky!)

Thank you. Yes the different stitch textures came out so well. My first pattern was just made up of Dc. But I love texture. So now I try to add as much as I can to my patterns.
