I agree with you! There should be more categories.
That is just the general category. Currently you would use the tags to add animal, bird, frog, etc.
I do think adding subcategories might be a good idea though. So you would select toy as the category and then animal, food, etc as a subcategory. For clothing it could be shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, etc. Decor could have wall hanging, plants, baskets, blankets etc. Accessories could have jewelry, hats, hair accessories, scarves, etc.

I think there should be an accessory option as well!!! I don’t really feel like a headband or a pair of earrings should be in the clothing category.

I agree stuffed animals should be their own category from toys (in my opinion too) because some people (adults and kids) use them as toys yes, but want others will use them for comfort items, home decor instead of pillows, medical support items because sometimes a stuffed animal due to the animals natural shape will work better then a pillow, along with many other ways people use stuffed animals
If you use it as a pillow then it is a decoration. Comfort items can be everything even a blanket or a Wall decoration can give comfort to somme (made with stuff from your grandparents/last gift from your mother/…) everything can give you that.
And if you don’t put stuffed animals with toys then it is a really small niche of things you can make as a “toy”. Or maybe just a big niche cos a child can play with everything
