Hi, I am currently working on a small crochet business and I was wondering about the policy of useing others patterns for your business. If I were to crochet something use someone’s pattern would I be allowed to sell it? Do I have to give them credit? I’m so confused, if anyone could help that that would be great! Thanks Bumble Beezs!

Sometimes the pattern, or website, will say if or if not you’re allowed to sell finished products that you make from the patterns

I would recommend contacting the creators of the patterns directly and asking them because people have different policies. Some people may want you to credit them others are fine if you don’t and some people may want you to sell for a minimum price. Also let me know when your shop opens!

One basically unspoken rule in selling plushies is always credit the creator of the pattern!
