oooo mittens! Iāve attempted those like a thousand times and failed so bad every timeā¦ maybe this time ill succeed. I def was gonna do cute coastersā¦ Scarvesā¦ I need some cute patterns for those
Ill look into those. my (second) cousins are HUGE into chickens rn its actually really cute
Heres some chicken bowl cozies! Use cotton yarn and they can go straight in the microwave with bowls so no burnt hands useful for soup season maybe
those are so cutesy
There are a lot of good suggestions up top, but I saw you asking about color; thereās something called color theory (you can google it and get pictures/explanations and there are some great youtube videos, too) that you can use.
So, in the picture here you see arrows, and going in a straight line from one color to the next, those are good visually with each other, such as yellow+purple, or blue+orange, or choosing a color and pairing it with the colors next to it (dark green with normal/light green etc).
This is just a very simple wheel, and Iām no art major or anything, but I find it helpful when Iām in a bind choosing colors
Thank you! I actually was VERY confused on color theoryā¦ and low-key i get the basics but yk that helps
I think trinket pouches would be good for all ages or gender. There are a couple of pretty good patterns here on Ribblr that were free (like a pumpkin one - I used that pattern but just altered the color for what I preferred - there is also a super cute drawstring pouch - it was smaller like for a dice bag but you can alter the size as you need by just doing extra rows). Trinket pouches can be quick to make and can be made in many different colors to suit your giftee! I think handmade gifts can mean more to a giftee so good luck!!
thank you!!
Everyone loves socks but they may take a while to make - for actually comfortable socks you need to use sock wool which is extremely thin and stretchy, and usually a bit more expensive than acrylic or cotton.
Itās getting colder out (assuming youāre in the northern hemisphere), so beanies/scarves/gloves/mittens/hand warmers/sweaters/etc would be well received. Sweaters might take a lot of time though.
Market bags or trinket bags would be well received. A market bag would be good for someone who goes to the store a lot, and a trinket bag is great for anyone who is into tabletop roleplaying or any other hobby that involves the use of small knickknacks such as dice.
Wash cloths and hand towels are both incredibly practical gifts. You might also be able to make some hair scrunchies.
