Crochet pains

How does everyone look after their hands, wrists, arms, ect when crocheting for long periods? I’ve been completely hypefixated on making a top and a pattern for it for the last couple of days and I’m getting very achy and I want to make sure I don’t give myself a repetitive strain injury or something!! Does anyone have any tips like stretches or products you’d recommend??
(I also have hypermobile joints if anyone has any advice specific to that)
Thank you for any suggestions!!!

Try going up to the magnifying glass on top of your screen, type in hand pain hand stretches, whatever.
There’s lots of info that has already been shared.

if you keep your elbows relaxed and at your sides, your hands in your lap, and you sit up straight, you can relieve a lot of stress on your muscles and also crochet faster!

Thank you I’ll have to try that!! I always end up crocheting really close to my face because I forget to put my reading glasses on (that makes me sound old, I am not haha)

I also prop up my arms with pillows in my lap as I tend to sit criss cross applesauce.
Really relievesthe pain in my neck and shoulders.
