Hi people of ribblr
This was just a mistake i used to make a lot when i was fairly new to crocheting and it used to drive me mad !!! My stiches never looked like everyone else’s and i didnt know why. So i thought i would just share the knowledge
Your amigurumi might be inside out !!!
When crocheting in the round your hook should be on the outside of your work not the inside

Not like this
If you can see what i mean, the inside stiches are a different shape to outside stiches you can see the difference when working flat!!! If you crochet not inside out you dec will be less visible and if you invdec they will be invisible!!!
Hope this helps anyone !!!

I used to do that all the time! And one that’s worse that I used to do I didn’t know the difference between a single crochet and a slip stitch so I made a spider entirely out of slip stitchs and couldn’t understand why it was so hard to do XD

I did that when I first started because I liked the way it looked
I knew it was wrong but I still did it and sometimes I still do if it fits the pattern
