I recently had someone say crochet doesn’t use math, I’m working on a pattern and I had to decrease from 21 stitches to 18 stitches. So whoever said crochet doesn’t use math or thinks that, this is to prove you wrong (and yes I know someone could easily do this)

So much math in crochet & knitting! Addition, substraction, multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, algebra…the list goes on! I love it personally and wish someone woul make a 3D crochet pattern generator/modeler since it’s all math!
