Crocheting for kids in the hospital

I’m thinking about going to the hospital once a month to give kids there crochet stuff and 2 questions

  1. Do you think it’s a good idea
  2. What should I make

If you can find free stuff on ribblr it would be great

It’s an excellent and very commendable idea:heart:

I would check with the hospital staff first as to what items they would accept. I would hate for you to make a bunch of stuff that they would end up rejecting for some reason

I would first contact the hospital in question. Some will only allow store bought donations (due to liability and germs) while others allow clean, homemade items, following certain restrictions.

The hospital we are going to is Texas Children’s and they have a form to fill out that says you can crochet things to give but it has to be made with cotton yarn that’s not bulky
