Crocheting in the heat

Hi All, with the hot weather here in Ireland at the minute I just wanted to ask, how is everyone coping with crocheting in this heat? Tbh I haven’t been doing much lately and it’s all building up :see_no_evil: I’m always crocheting something and when I don’t I feel like there’s something wrong :joy: with the weather suppose to change this week I’ll definitely be catching up on WIPs.

Yeah, I have the same problem here in the Netherlands–it’s way too warm right now :smiling_face_with_tear: In Sweden we say that one can have a “tankevurpa” (which meaning translates to something like “extreme thought failure” :joy:), and I’ve had a couple of those the last few days since I live in a cabin without any kind of airconditioner. But I get my work and anything else done during the somewhat cooler morning and evening hours (well, last night it was 25 celcius in the night, so still hot). So that’s basically how I cope

When I’m hot, which is often, I give up on the crochet if I get irritated, cuz then I get even hotter! Ugh!

I tend to work on smaller items… but there are ways to make a larger item smaller so that I can work on those too… however, I’m weird and often will suffer the heat to be able to pay with yarn haha
