l WANT TO HEAR YOUR CROCHETING PET PEEVES!!
I’ll go first: when people call it knitting and say it’s an old lady thing to make fun of you.
Any other good ones?

When my mom calls it knitting or “playing with yarn”.

When someone interrupts me when I’m counting, then gets mad when I proceed to count out loud once they’re done.

Whe the stitch marker snaps.

When the yarn rolls off the table and onto the floor.

When the yarn is a center-pull skein.

Inline hooks. They’re just evil.

When my dad calls it knitting or CROTCHeting
When plush yarn snaps
When you try to pull from the center and it just makes a mess
When my stitch count is different EVERY TIME I REDO A ROUND

Oh my god that looks like a medieval torture device!! Also the sharpness of the edge of the curved but looks like it would go thru the middle of a strand of wool which would be HELL

He’s so funny.
On November 15 there was a youth event and women’s event, he asked me if I was doing :smiley: laser tag :smiley: or :slightly_frowning_face: card making :slightly_frowning_face:
He made the women’s event sound so lame.
Also he always tells my friend who crochets during the lesson ‘Put down your sew knit crocheting’

When people that have never done any crochet try to give you advices on how to do things.
When I use a new chenille yarn colour for the first time and realise this one is gonna be losing a lot more fluff than the others

When everyone asks me to make them things with no compensation :upside_down_face: I’m a very busy person and have activities/hobbies outside of crocheting and even then crocheting takes a lot of time
