i actaully only used 2 stands, but i find the type of thread also effects the way it works. I might wanna wax this thread ita s chesp stuff from walmart.
1 strand would be not enough, i could do 2 or 3 strands not folded in half…

My mom got me a really cool cross stitch for Christmas and I have yet to touch it! I don’t even know where to start on it! I haven’t done one since I was a kid!
I wanted to do a predone pattern before I even attempt to make my own just to get a hang of doing it again.
My relax no think anxiety calm my butt down thing is dimond dots! Sometimes my crochet, drawing, painting, etc. Can cause me stress because I want to be perfect on it. So dimond dots is perfect for me. Just match the color to the letter/number!

I haven’t tried cross stitch yet, but I’ve tried needlepoint and liked it. I really want to try cross stitch next. I especially want to because there’s some adorable patterns for stardew valley (which I also love). Did you get your patterns from Etsy or the official website? It looks great!
