Curving

I read somewhere you could put a piece of yarn in the first and last stitches as you go, so you can see where they should go in the next row. Mostly, keep it up. You can do it!

It looks like you are skipping the very first stitch. The easiest way for you to make sure that this doesn’t happen is to put a removeable stitch marker in the third stitch of the chains which would count as a stitch. Now if the chain stitches don’t count as a stitch then you should be going back down into that stitch where you made the chains to make the height and then should be putting a removeable stitch marker in that stitch. And then do the same at the other end for the last stitch to show where the first stitch will go. This might help keep those waves from happening.
