David

Have y’all seen this movie? It’s based on King David’s story, and is actually pretty interesting!

I’ve watched the series on streaming, I do not normally go to movies as I can’t hear anything?

But I’m excited to see if once it’s available on Hulu, Amazon, etc.

Is young David good? I saw the add for it, but we didn’t end up donating for it.

It is good. The kids really enjoy it. They have watched all the episodes multiple times through it that says anything. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you get the angel app I believe you can watch episodes for free without joining the guild. The guild does run sales occasionally so you can join at the yearly price at a huge discount or donth monthly thing cheaper. Subscribing is not required. You can enjoy tons for free and the things locked eventually get unlocked it just takes time. We had it free for a couple years but we joined on a black Friday deal.

Young David is also on minno which is subscription only but it is super cheap for a year. We pay for a year even though our kids have mostly grown out of it just to support it because it is so cheap and we like what we do. (We do the put your money behind your beliefs thing)

yes, your money speaks which is why I quit buying stuff from Shein and Temu and all of its knockoffs.

Yes that was hard for us because we have a large family and those two sites were a cost savings for the little things, stuff for my art classes like aprons and bulk canvases, and for recital stuff that would probably be single use like a hair piece.

We actually switched to finding local vendors and shops to see if they could fulfill our needs. We still buy tons online because of where we live, (but not temu and shein), but we started becoming a big proponent of shop local and shop small businesses.

Can you talk to you local theater about doing a subtitled showing? I am sure you aren’t the only one in the community that would appreciate it.

We asked our local community theater (plays) and they started doing a single showing for all of their plays that is ND friendly. It isn’t as dark. There are two people on the side in the aisle that signal when loud noises or something startling is about to happen. There is a table of free fidgets that people can keep. There are noise cancelling headphones to buy and earplugs for free. It has been great since our family is big into the Arts.

Our movie theater has done a few subtitled showings when requested ahead of time.

Hey, because of my husband calling ahead of time, talked me into going to the movies with him, and they had subtitles on a pair of glasses.

But, the subtitles on the bottom of glasses didn’t help me watch the movies. It was like whoever invented these glasses did not have a clue.

That sounds weird

I wear glasses and I don’t even know what I would do with words going across a second pair.
