Dear Designers. Advice Wanted! Lets Discuss Designing!

I am new to crochet designing but not the design process, and I am looking for

Things I wish I knew when I first started designing patterns and creations

What are some things you wish you had learned much sooner?
Any part of the process, designing, pattern writing, beggining sketches, trial runs, any stage. Any catagory.
What are some things that completely curved your way of designing?
How long have you been designing and how much have your designs changed over time?
Did you start off doing things the hard way? What thing(s) made your life 100x easier?
What is a youtube channel that shaped your learning experience?

And last but never least, what are your biggest tips for starting out, your first patterns, and crojo (Crochet Mojo) advice.
Let’s discuss!
