Oh its so CUTE! What a great way to get rid of a color you donāt care for.
Itās wonderful you gift so many of your makes! Iām curious about the cyclops - that sounds really cool!

Heads up all, I will be spinning for week 3ās winner later tonight, so be sure to get either your final or your wip pictures in if you want to be included in the drawing
Oooooh i meant to post this!
Thank you! Also youāre blanket came out amazing! The colors work so well together, loved how you ordered them!!
Oh my gosh how neat is that?! I didnt even know they had glow in the dark chenille yarn! Also your note about the buckle genuinely made me lol
Thank you!!
Congratulations to @ArtsAndNaps, our winner for week 3!
Feel free to send me a message or reply here with your pattern of choice!
Thank you to everyone who participated last week - Iām looking forward to seeing your seasonal makes!
Ah thank you so much! You can just choose whatever/surprise me also excited to see yours and everyones seasonal makes as well
Results for Fourth destash (week 22-28)
I didnāt finish my black cloak but did finish 1 skein out of 3 on my 2nd one. There might be more skeins will have to check my containers to be sure, but it 's coming along well, might have to get more skeins to finish it! Decided to go with a G/6 - 4.25 mm hook. Hereās the current image of it, folded in half Itāll be one of the WIP to finish for the fifth destash week! I did 96+2 chains to start off with since my crochet hook is much smaller than recommended hook
I finished my unlabeled pink yarn by double stranding it, along with triple stranding the unlabeled yellow yarn for this owl
I did end up buying some white yarn and green yarn since theyāre colors I often use along with more yarn for a project that Iām testing which will probably take some time since itās a cardigan. So while I might not be able to finish the challenge of the weeks I still will be destashing other things here and there especially the yarn I got for the test, plus depending on the challenge might be able to get far along for it
(the picture is kinda bad lol)
I am so so sorry everyone! I spent practically all weekend and most of last week drowning in paperwork left by the previous employee , but I have finally resurfaced!
This weekās prompt is a sort of bye week, a free space in bingo if you will!
Without further delay, Week 5ās Theme is: Work on a WIP!
The only goal this week is to make some progress on a project that needs some love! You donāt have to complete your wip, but I want to see them! ^.^ This can be a phsyical project or an idea/design in the works - whatever you feel like working on and sharing!
No inspo post this week because wips will be highly specific to the individual, but Iām hoping seeing each others wips will be inspiration enough!
Sorry again for the delay - I think everything will be back to normal now!
Also if anyone has a seasonal make/wip they havenāt shared, yet, feel free to drop them below! Iāll spin tomorrow for our winner
Wow!! That came out amazing
Not only is it adorable (love the colors!!!), but thatās wonderful you used up so much yarn! Way to go!!
Your cloak is coming along beautifully!!! And you made so much progress woah
That owl is stinkinā cute, too!
I welcome you to continue sharing your destashing efforts even if its not for the particular theme listed; I canāt wait to see this cardigan
Iām working on my dress again! At least trying to when I have the free timeā
I started a huge tapestry blanket (around 4ā by 7ā) that needs to be done by Christmas on top of all the other presents I need to makeā
Each row takes an hour, and I have 250ish more rows to do in 80ish days lol
So not much free time anymore with that plus everything elseā
Thank you! Iāll add my info for week five right now. Some of the WIPās I actually managed to finish and no worries! Itās understandable hopefully youāre no longer buried under all the paperwork!
Iāll be destashing from my: Yarns and WIP pile
My goal(s): To hopefully finish the project(s) or get as far as I can
The Project(s): My Halloween costume black cloak and a pouch
Yarn(s): Lion Bran wool ease (Pic 1) and red heard brown and unlabeled yellow yarn
Crochet hook: G/6 - 4.25 mm
I finished 2 cakes of the unlabeled yellow yarn by triple stranding and double stranding my red heart brown to start making an animal crossing pouch it should hopefully be done soon Iām close to finishing a third cake of the unlabeled yarn
I will probably finish it by the time I post this lol
Edit: Results so far for Fifth destash week (Sep. 29 - Oct. 5)
I did actually finish both the pouch, as for my Halloween costume black cloak I did run out of yarn! I still need to make the hood and Iāll probably make the cloak a cape or capelet depending on my mood since itās taking a bit to make it longer lol, thankfully Iām super close to reaching the length for the original pattern. Iāll make the hood and any leftover yarn will be for the cape length Iām about 11.5 or 11 1/2 inches and it needs to be at 12 inches. I used all 3 skeins I had for this. Not sure when Iāll get yarn maybe tomorrow. Just a note for myself the dye lot for all 3 are 578922
Iām still working on the test for the cardigan, unfortunately I made a mistake and it doesnāt fit me and I donāt want to frog it lol so Iāll be making it for a family member who I know will fit in it, thankfully Christmas is coming up
Iāll share anything I managed to destash at the end of the week if I did anything
Hereās some of my favorite makes for September!
Thatās the little Cyclops I made with this pattern: FREE NOSEW Baby Cyclops: Crochet pattern | Ribblr
Heās chilling in my bookshelf now:)
I always like to discover mythological patterns and make stuff by them, I think theyāre really cool
This mushroom dragon is my WIP for week 4. Itās a pattern by ComplicatedKnots on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll9ynsF-Gg8) I wanted to make since it came out (nearly two months ago). And I think it fits fall perfectly
Glad youāve made it out from under the paperwork!
I have a skeleton wip (from a complicated knots video) that i really need to get done. I really hate the yarn im using so its slow going and i keep putting it down. I just need to get it done.
