Do people usually buy paid Ribblr patterns?

It also helps to think of what kind of customers you want to attract to your shop. Do you want kids and young teens mostly? Those are the ones most likely to be into free and simple patterns. Do you want to market to a wider audience? If so, what level of experience is it more geared towards? What style do you want for your items?

For example, my style is quirky/darkly inclined stuff and my target customers are Halloween lovers, the lgbtq+ community, weirdos/outcasts and witches, those type of people. So most my patterns are within that theme. most things I make to sell are either very halloweeny, very queer, or a little bit nicer/fancier to appeal to the general public a little bit as well, but most my makes are scary or quirky.

I have occasionally bought amigurumi patterns here. I would maybe suggest selling on multiple platforms though. Some people really prefer places like Etsy and Ravelry because they like PDFs that they can print and won’t go away if you lose the log in info.
