Another time i cut open a ami i made cause i needed stuffing and it was a never finished toy that i forgot what i was even doing with it.

I took a netted type shawl i got from my cousin and knit a cat toque (she didn’t make it for me, her other grandma probably made it, it was in a thrift box… i wanted the yarn.. XD) now i got this cute cat hat!
Ohh my now my brain is going insane… was thinking i like the color should i make a sweater.. it should be enough yarn…. It made a twin sized blanket…
Then i was like Wait i crocheted a sweater/t-shirt thing a while back and have only worn it a 5 or 6 times… should i frog that.. the neck is kinda tight… can i fix that… if i do will i even wear it..
(Edit i was gonna frog the whole things frogged the short sleeves then the neck ribbing… and something said.. try it on now… so I did… its not tight at the neck! Its kinds like a weird vest right now)
Then it also reminds me.. my mom told me not to make myself a knit sweater.. cause i would never wear it (crochet sweater is poof…)
So i had started crocheting myself a cape… and i really need to finish that….
Sorry i rambling to myself i really need to get this all out of my head..
completely fine!! I love listening to people, the shirt looks really good though I have not attempted any clothing items other than hats yet but I think I might want to try socks
I love making socks its neat.. i have made a few… but then you get the dreaded Second Sock Syndrome…. (Pretty much you dont feel like making the 2nd one..) not sure why i like making socks.. slippers are fun too
I find it weird i saw something about how people usually stick to one type of item they make. And I like to at least try everything. Blankets, toys, a sweater, poncho, shawl, dishrags, granny squares, fillet crochet, doily with crochet thread, slippers,
Only thing i can think of that i have actually never made a wall hangings before.
I suffer the same affliction! I have a pile of projects in various stages waiting for me patiently in what I call my “timeout” box. It’s part of the creative process.
I also have some finished project around that I want to rework into something else. All of them are wearables from when I was starting out. I picked the wrong yarns, the pieces have no drape and I picked patterns that I did not like to wear in the end.
I really hope I can make something useful someday. But I agree, it is all part of the process!
The process makes me think of this one comic i saw about crochet being magic. Looks at a book with these weird symbols and abbreviations nobody understands take a magic want and some string and some magic words and magically makes a ____
It happens to me alot. I had a king size blanket that was put aside because I got tired of working on it. I pulled it out a couple of days ago and tore it all apart. The amigarumi I make usually find homes pretty fast.
