Embroidery on crochet?

Hii! I want to make a pair of gloves with a simple stitch and then make some mushroom embroidery on it, but I’ve never done any embroidery other than amigurumi faces.

Do you have any tips?

What kind of stitches are the easiest to embroider on?

Any works you’ve done combining crochet and embroidery?

I’d love to see them

I’ve done it a few times, the tips I can think of are just usual embroidery tips, and to have a darning needle with the hook bent at the end could probably be helpful, but I recommend specifically searching on YouTube embroidering on crochet since there may be specific tips and tricks for it

I’ve only ever embroidered on Single crochet (US) before but I imagine any stitches would work as long as you can pass a needle through it, stitches that have large gaps or lacey might be harder to embroidery depending on what you intend to embroider

This was awhile back but I embroidered some carrots and a flower, something simple

Either way good luck! An embroidered mushroom sounds really nice and I like the idea, definitely share if you do end up making it
