I am posting from the website, for some reason trying to access chat/forums from the app causes the app to lag out and tells me āThere is a problem with your account, please contact administratorā
But it works fine on the website. Everything else works, only the chat causes it to time out and crash
Iām having the same issue.
The app works perfectly fine until I hit the community button. Then it loads for a minute or two and this screen pops up
The only way I could get the community section to open was to go through the website and click the button.
It took about 5 tries but it worked eventually.
Everything else works perfectly fine with little lag, but the community section is lagging so badly that every time I click something it takes at least a minute to load.
Iām on an iPhone XR.
So this isnāt just me? Good to know. It means something on Ribblr broke. I canāt access the community tab or my profile on the app, it works fine via website. But I get that message every time I try and access chat/forum on the app. Maybe someone @Ribblr should look into it
I just checked and I can open the community tab on my app now. The lag is still just as bad though
Happening to me too sites really slow. I wasnāt able to message my testers without an error message
Iām having the error message for posting replies too.
Yeah I tried uploading a picture and got the 500 error. Then in the chat my text disappeared from the chat
Iām not even getting notifications on replies or anything now. Iām getting the but thatās it, not reply notifications. Something definately broke @Ribblr needs to look into
Weāre experiencing an extreme load on our community servers.
Our engineers are working on fixing this issue.
same and Iām hoping that u can see this message iāve been having trouble all day @ribblr why is this happening?
My app did what the others described but also did it if I tried to go to my profile. Iām not sure about other things, I figured it was something that was being resolved so I gave it time. I hope thatās useful information in case thereās not a full solution yet. Happy to see its being or is resolved.
I tried to fix it by logging in and out but it didnt let me log back in
From what I was told in an email. It was being caused by the extreme load on the community servers, to the point it was being choked off and creating that error.
Thatās what was causing those login errors and preventing people from viewing profile. Thatās why they had to take the chat down for maintenance, it was choking the entire site (or so I am to understand)
Oh ye that makes sense
