I like to use a smaller hook so that it’s tight like a single crochet but still has the stretch and “look” of double

I’m a big fan of the lemon peel stitch! 1sc, 1dc repeat - it gives such a lovely texture

I mainly use it for sweaters but you could definitely use it on blankets!
