Favourite stash buster patterns ?

Hello! I’m just wondering if ya’ll have any really good stash buster patterns? preferably something that uses up a LOT of yarn?

i inherited three balls of vintage red heart comfort yarn from family (+ a sweater my great grandmother made that i was given permission to frog bc she’d rather see the yarn reused than see it sitting in a closet) that amounts to about 48+ oz of yarn, or well over 2600 (ish) yards. i’m not really sure how to add attachments to topics yet so it’s a perry the platypus teal colour, but slightly darker.

i really want to use it all up to make something massive but i’m not really sure what to make. i’m not really picky on what craft either. I’m thinking maybe a long coat, a sweater, a blanket, or a rug or smth? i’m not against the idea of doubling it up, either. i just need help brainstorming haha :sweat_smile:

My favorite stash buster pattern is this easy rectangular granny square that I just continue crocheting to make a blanket with or without color changes  A regular granny square could work too if you’d prefer a square shape
