My first proper chenile plushie. My fingers and wrists ache so bad! Is that normal? Any advice welcome. A few mistakes and definately room for improvement but im so proud!

That looks amazing for a first chenille project!
Achiness is kinda normal, pain isnโt
If your hands feel achy when using chenille these could be some of the reasons:
Not taking any/ enough breaks,
Using a hook without a grip,
Your tension is too tight or your hook is too small (based off the picture I donโt think this is true),
The project is big and heavy so it stains your hands (itโs probably this one),
Or youโre just not used to using chenille!
Looks great, the aches could be the tention you are using, or maybe try a new crochet hook, there are many out there, i like the padded handle ones myself, and i dont by expensive ones.
