Free Patterns Timer (Attempt 2) + Pattern Test

@Ribblr I’ve requested this before but I’m going to request this again. Can we please please add a free pattern timer? Like you could put it under the redirecting little square rectangle thing. This would honestly save my life so I don’t have to keep track of it.
The next one is:
Could we remove gifting patterns from test as free patterns, because if I got 5 patterns the day before and I was gifted one from testing a pattern that would effect it. So many people that test often have so many patterns in their wishlist but can never get it because they test so much.
What do we think? (I will not be offended)

Just like when you get a free pattern and its says like wait 24 hours for your next one, ribblr could put a timer for it

I have a goal planner that I try to keep updated on when I got my patterns, but today I got all mine at like, 4 am and I’m not going to remember that. XD This is a fantastic idea!

Also, I JUST figured out the gift patterns count against your free ones a day or two ago so I’m not sure if gifted patterns can’t be recieved if you’ve already gotten all your freebies for the day or what. I could certainly see that causing some problems for testers down the road, and the folks gifting their tested patterns out, and even pattern giveaways.

As many as I can, when I get them, I make them but I don’t make journals for them

It would be nice to have official timer; however, until one is introduced this is how I do it:

  1. Have your free wished for items ready in your wish list (of course, lol). I sort by low to high and try to maintain at least 5 freebees all the time.
  2. Go ahead and “get it now” for the first 5.
  3. NOTE THE TIME you are FINISHED grabbing the 5th one, as the 24 hrs seens to be calculated from this time.
  4. Finally, go to the CLOCK app on your phone, set an alarm for 1-2 min after the last selected pattern. For example: today I finished the 5th item at 9:07 am, so I went into my clock alarms and changed to time from yesterday’s 8:05 am, to todays time plus two minutes ( i woke up a little late today, lol). So my alarm will go off tomorrow at 9:09 am.

Hooe this helps, for now.

yea but when I test patterns it effects your 5 free patterns so I won’t know

i feel like getting gifted shouldn’t count as part of your free patterns counter

yea at least for testing patterns

it’s actually 24 hours from each instance. So if you blitz 4 of them at noon and get gifted one at 5, the first four refresh at noon the next day and the fifth one refreshes at 5.

I absolutely agree!
