The better option is to not use acrylic at all if possible XD but yeah it ages so if you’re going to use acrylic try to avoid using it for clothing as that won’t be pleasant on your skin for long.

I know that helps with natural fiber, not sure about acrylic, however fabric softener should work on acrylic because it actually puts a coating on the fiber.
