Hey so I have quick question… I’m making a gauge swatch, and I have a smaller yarn than the recommended for the project. So I sized up my hook one size. The grave swatch is 4"x4" with 16dc x 9 rows… My swatch is 4"x4" with 18 sts and 9 rows. How much will this effect the pattern?

If your making a sweater or a blanket or something big it could possibly affect it a lot depending on the size of what your making. May I ask what are you making?

It might be a problem if your gauge is off. I have not made pant before so I wouldn’t know.

Me either haha thought I’d ask. The pattern seems pretty easy and able to make by my own measurements. I think I’ll give it a shot and see what happens the first few rows.
Thanks!

A two stitch difference shouldn’t affect it too much, but if it does maybe the pants will be just a little bit narrower.
