Glitch when editing other's posts?

When I edit other people’s posts and add tags sometimes this pops up.

It’s only sometimes, and it will not let me post it until the title is changed in some way.
Which means having to add punctuation to a title or something else like that, but obviously people don’t like having their title changed so I end up not closing it and not editing anything.

Hmm I’m not sure

It’s because the title already been used before in another topic (idk if that even made sense :sob:) basically if a topic has the title, let’s just say, ā€œgiveaway!!!ā€ another topic CANT be named ā€œgiveaway!!!ā€ it has to be different from another topic (ok I’m just repeating the same words over and over again, so this probably doesn’t make sense :sob::sweat_smile:)

It’s happened to me before (when I tried posting a topic but it wouldn’t let me until I named the topic smth different) and I’m pretty sure it’s NOT a glitch, Ribblr just wants each topic posted to be named smth different :woman_shrugging:

No, I’m talking about editing a post that’s already been made.
For example:

It won’t let me finish editing the post because it says the title has already been used (meaning used in that same post which is why it’d be a glitch)

Yes! That happened to me the other day when I was trying to change someone’s post to a different space so it wouldn’t get flagged and so it would be more organized . And what i had to do to fix it was add another exclamation mark.

this is correct. You can’t use the same title again and again

Of course, I was referring to editing an already made post instead of making a new one though.

because it matches it to another one that already exists, with the title you’re trying to edit to.

Well, what I’m saying is that I’m not editing the title.
Like in the photo I posted above, the title was posted as ā€œHey guysā€.
I did not change the title, I only moved the post to the personal space and added tags, but it wouldn’t let me finish editing it because of the title.
I didn’t change the title in any way from how it was originally posted.

Sorry, to clarify that is likely because you moved it and title is unique per space.
