howdy- so i’m planning on making a sunflower granny square blanket for my mom for her birthday (hopefully it all works out)
i’m wondering what order i should like do them in?
i want to have the colored ones; where the middle is brown, then a dark orange, a yellow, and then a white in the outside. im thinking i will also creat them in all white and then i will like make a checkered pattern with them.
i want all 4 of the corners to end up being the same type (colored or not) but i can’t decide if the corners should be the colored or the white ones haha.
lmk what you think.
(the good thing about granny square blankets is that if it ends up smaller than i thought i can just add more haha)

Hmm honestly it sounds great no matter the way it ends up! I made a sunflower granny square blanket for my grandmother for Christmas all the same squares, brown in the middle, then orange, then yellow, but I went green on the outside lol a little time saver in case you didn’t know is to carry your yarn ends when you switch colors so you don’t have to weave them in at the end (I did this towards the end and it saved much more time lol
