Yes lol, not only do I put it away I also put it away in my head 
I once put a ring in a “safe place” … I found it YEARS later on top of a painting (:
By that time the ring didnt fit anymore 
i was scrambling around in the ground last night and my friend was like “you good?” and i wa alike “my hook! where’d it go…?”

For me it’s my phone. Especially in bed. I swear I put it on my pillow? Where could it possibly have gone? 
and then I find it after a while of searching in panic, tucked somewhere between my 500 blankets.
Dang phone gives me a panic attack every time I can’t find it easily.
I bought it with my husbands life insurance policy., I don’t have money to replace it.
