I am curious to know what is everyone’s New Year’s traditions. For example, as a tradition my family always eats ham, black eyed peas, and cabbage for good luck and money in the new year. My fiancés family makes a prosperity bowl and eats 12 grapes (one per month).

Umm my family doesn’t have any tradition for the new year. However, we prioritize family time.
Happy New Year’s!! Our tradition is celebrating my brothers birthday lol
on new year’s eve, we eat my mom’s potato soup. it’s btter than literally any other potato soup I’ve ever had. we also have punch. then at midnight, we open the front and back doors ro let out old luck and let in new luck. we also aren’t allowed to clean anything on new year’s day since it could wash away your luck or a loved one
Happy New Year! My family always eats ham, rice, black eyed peas, and collard greens for good luck and money in the new year. We also don’t wash clothes or dishes on new years day because that’s washing your family away.
