My dance Teacher wants to buy gifts for her niece and nephew from me, but she didn’t tell me what she wants. She has a four year-old niece and a two year-old nephew. I need pattern suggestions preferably free, low-sew or no-sew Patterns but they don’t have to be on Ribblr, also, Feel free to use self promotion :) also, I prefer medium Ish size projects so that neither of them can choke on anything
Thanks, Alex
Edit: Amigurumi please!

My octo pattern would be perfect!
It works up super quickly, is free, and is no sew! Hope you make it!

Would it be better for the two year-old or the four year-old?

I think both would love it! All ages including adults love these!

I’m worried about size because I don’t want it to be too small that they could choke on it

Ik that’s a lot

Just a little tip! I’d go for no sew because I have a 4 year old niece and I made her a no sew bunny and it’s still holding together. With the limbs or anything being sewed in with however aggressive or playful they are it still holds up!

Just as a heads up too- id recommend being careful with safety eyes :) maybe burn the ends and smash them, or stick some backing to make it less likely to pop out. They can be real bad choking hazzards
Ill keep an eye out for patterns though. Regardless, good luck! Theyll love whatever you decide to craft <3

I think if you used the safety eyes it would have to be for the four years old because of choking risk

I have a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old. I don’t have a specific pattern but some recommendations for whichever patterns you do choose.
Don’t use safety eyes at all. There’s no guarantee the toy you make for the older kid won’t be stolen by the younger kid. My daughter steals her brothers toys all the time. She’s managed to rip off a safety nose from one of her plushies (a rabbit) and an eye of a marshmallow squish I made my hubby. My son however hasn’t even tried to rip his off.
No sew over sewn on attachments. I don’t know how rough her kids are but I’ve had better success with pieces crocheted together than sewn on. Sadly the fairy I made has lost a Pom Pom from a shoe and a piece from her wings. Easy to reattach but none the less a problem.

These are two I’ve actually been wanting to make for my babies!
I think they’d be perfect, low sew and safety eyes can be subbed for embroidery.
Maybe I should make some baby safe no sew plushies
(not the first time I’ve seen this come up lol.)

That’s a good point I have already made something for the four-year-old and there’s feet sewn on and safety eyes
