Help - How can I enlarge a pattern??

I kind of need help enlarging a patterns, which starts with a magic ring. Does anyone have any tips on how to make your projects bigger? Thank you!

Bigger yarn and multiplying by X2/X3/X# the numbers are the only ways that I can think of
