I am having a hard time figuring out crochet. My dad passed away a month ago yesterday and I have made anything since the flowers the pallbearers wore to his service. I really feel like I might find some joy if I could just figure out what to make.
Toss me some ideas please :)

Condolences to you and your family offers internet hug if wanted
Maybe make something small to remind you of him that you can pick up when you’re feeling down?

Make his favorite animal/ creature. (Most guys like dragons or wolves.) Something you can hold when you miss him.

My deepest condolences. That is so sad. Any of my snugglers you haven’t made! Especially if one was a favorite animal of his like @Jadobabyx suggested

aww, i’m very sorry for your loss.
hmm… as far as ideas go…
maybe a positive potato? to help you get through the hard times- i would suggest really stuffing this so it’s fun to squeeze!
maybe something that reminds you of him? not sure what he liked, but it would be a nice reminder that he’s always there, watching over you :)
I would suggest something small just to get you moving to start with. I found it easier to make something for someone else initially after grief. I couldn’t bring myself to make something for me. Think of someone and something small they would like. A headscarf, bookmark, bag charm. Just a small thinking of you token. It gets you started and let’s them know they are thought of and lifts yours and their spirits some. A few of those gifts just to start out. Then you might want to move to something a bit bigger like a very very small toy or something they can carry and that can get you more into crochet. But until then, think very small and think of someone else and let them know you are thinking of them to lift them up.
Thank you everyone
