help me get the correct amount of yarn!!

hello!!
i need help deciding how much yarn to order for the ‘Giant Goosetav the Goose’ by @GraceFaceCreates! i’m planning to use the yarn linked on the pattern, Premier Basix Chenile Brights, 112yds, 100g, for $3.99. the pattern says to get 4-5 220g of yarn but i couldn’t find the 220g skein anywhere! should i get about 12 of the 100g yarn? can anyone help me find out how much yarn to get?
thank you and have a nice day!!

I think they’re trying to say buy as many skeins of the 112g skeins to get to a little more than 220g. There probably is no 220g skein.

I’d say that it requires a total of 880-1100g of yarn, which would mean that you would need about 9-11 skeins of the yarn you want to use, unless of course your yarn is a thinner weight than the suggested yarn

You might want to contact the designer of the pattern and ask for advice. At least it could not hurt trying.

You can do that by clicking the help button when you are on the pattern page.

How much yarn you need also depends on how tightly or loosely you crochet. If I do any calculations for myself I usually end up buying an extra skein or two just to be sure

I think @Axolotlllll and @EnterShopNameGuy made this!

Ooo! My son required 4 1/2 of white sweet snuggles literally (skein is 250 g), which is 1250 g total. Get a little bit more than required if u don’t want to make many trips (buy 13 skeins). Otherwise, get 12, but there’s a risk of u requiring more.

I realized both that this makes no sense and that I don’t remember how many I bought before I got extras.
