Hi people, Im creating a pattern(Yes I am!!!)and I want to know what do you call this??(guess what im making!!!)
HEEELPP
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE
I think it would be something similar to whats called a âthird loopâ but instead of it being the back of your work maybe say âthird loop from the frontâ? but since youâre making a pattern maybe it would help to make a video and add it as well. :)
Oki, thanks!
Im so sorry but im not gonna make ur answer until i find out if itâs correct :)
That is crocheting into the last single crochet, Iâd say probably third loop! Or just put a video explaining where to put it!
Okaaayy, thanks!!
Sorry I donât know the name ![]()

!!!
You should try to add a photo and to add information on so that testers know
!
Something of this kind:
Sorry itâs a photo of my future pattern so it doesnât correspond but you can just put photos with explanations
!
Because itâs also difficult for me to explain with words and to make videos, I just explain with a lot of photos
!
Or put a YouTube âtutorialâ you created with a link so they know ![]()

I recently bought a pattern that required that, and she called it the Back Bump! :D
It looks like youâre crocheting through the left vertical bar of the front âVâ, which is different from working in the 3rd loop (the 3rd loop refers to behind the stitch, just below the back loop and creates the camel stitch). Iâve also seen people call it the left âlegâ of the stitch. Iâd definitely recommend also including a photo or video in the pattern, further explaining what youâre referring to ![]()
That part of a stitch is called a âpostâ.
A post stitch is most commonly worked around the entire stitch to create a raised stitch and is used to create the alpine stitch as well as ribbing.
However, you appear to only be working in one of the posts/legs of the stitch. This is most commonly used when making a picot stitch after you ch 2 or 3 instead of working into the first chain.
So the most applicable term to use would be âpostâ. ![]()
ie: (sc, ch 3, sl st to the front post of the sc)
As @crochetbykieu stated, it would be helpful if you added a picture to your pattern showing exactly where you insert your hook so that beginners understand better. ![]()
Very wise. ![]()
Thanks! but how dâyou put the image???
Once youâve taken the photo of the hook inserted into the correct space, you can add it to the pattern by selecting âmediaâ on the same line as your description and attaching the photo. ![]()
Thanks!!! though I already figured out how :P
Great
!
