I bought these eyes at my yarn store assuming they were safety eyes, but now that I’ve opened them, it turns out their backs are different to safety eyes I’m familiar with. Does anyone know what these are called?
I’ve tried looking it up but to no avail. I just want to find out how to securely attach them, and I can’t look that up without knowing their name.
They look like they might be buttons
That looks like a circle or an arch on the back making them sew on style eyes.
It seems it is called sewing shank.

They are buttons.
They are shank buttons!
