wait, is it goosetav?
Cieling hooks and wires connecting the plush to mm the hooks? A ladder/step stool? Laying it out on the bed and/or floor? Using a broom handle or an extendable claw tool to fetvthe stuffing in place?
Will any of these help?
Maybe sitting it on a Lazy Susan, spinnable office chair, or a kids merri-go-round toy thing? Something you can spin with your feet or a quick turn of the hand while working on it may help? Should remove the necessity of lifting and turning it with the full weight every time you need to rotate it to crochet a row
Even sitting it on a garbage bag and rotating the garbage bag with your feet (if possible but more possible if over carpet?) might help
I crochet in a recliner and with bigger things I tend to put between my legs and let the already stuffed parts slide down onto the floor to make room. Not sure if this helps, but works decently for me. Biggest one Iāve made is a dragon that is nearly the same length as I am tall.
Yes, yes it is
Ohh, thatās a really good idea- I think Iām gonna use that. Any other advice is always welcome!
I would sit on a something tall so like a bed or even a table and let it fall to the ground that way your still crocheting where you nomraly would and if your project doesnāt quite touch the floor use your legs to hold it up so it doesnāt pull your hook away from the stitches (cause my guess it will be decently heavy)
Yeah me too!
Me too
I would say just sit in a tall chair and let it go on the floor, or maybe on the couch and just let it go on your lap and onto the floor (if it is that big)
Sit in a swivel chair at highest setting/or sit at the edge of your bed! That might help!
My bed is a loft bed⦠it gonna FALLLLL
TIMBERRRRR
LOL! I made a goose too- mine is 2 ft! Is urs 5ft from grace face?
Suggestibles: let it slouch- donāt hold it- and I recommend a yarn bowl! Hope it helps!
I want to make a goose, but its probably something Iāll start and never finish. My WIP bin is to full for another project
I found a pattern- search up goose free hugs pattern- a website called amiguroomtoys should appear. I used a 9mm hook to make a 2 ft goose.
thanks! Iāll check it out!!
When I make huge plushies I ask my family if they can hold it while I crochet
