When I make fingerless gloves, I just make a rectangle that fits around my whole hand, then sew it and leave a hole for the thumb. I think you should keep it!

I don’t think that it will turn out too big! Generally when you use a blo only stitch, it will stretch out a lot. This will probably make it a bit shorter when u wear it!! :light_blue_heart: it looks adorable!!

Actually it is in both loops

Im using hdc and the YT tut said hdc in both loops

I’ve only made 1 pair of fingerless gloves before and I used a pattern, but I pretty much just made a rectangle (chain the length and crochet the width/what’s going to wrap around your hand), and slip stitched them together, but sewing works too! Also just leave a hold for your thumb. It looks good so far though, you should keep it!

I think you should def keep it! If it’s too big that’s ok! Thanks for the taggie!

When I made one I used 2 markers to mark the hole and made single crochets through both sides,

made slip stitch’s up the one side of the hole finished with about 3sc through both sides and slst the other side of the hole down and FO I used it for a caradigan it was a bit long for me too but I just folded it in.

Idea maybe you could make these mittens keep track of how many rows you do after you make the thumb hole, like do like 4 rows or soemthing

This pattern has a bunch of different sizes as part of the pattern.
