Hi! I may be starting to sell my amigurumi to a store at wholesale prices, and I don’t know how to price my goods. They said they require at least a 50% margin to sell wholesale goods. What does that mean for me? If I previously listed an amigurumi bunny for $45, what do I sell it to them for?

This can be difficult. For instance, i sell little ghosts 8 wholesale (when i normally sell for 10) its hard for larger pieces, because if you want a net 45… the store would have to be able to get 90 for it.

that’s exactly the problem, bc i already underpriced it at $45! and that’s the one i think the store is especially interested in so i’m not sure what to do there

Could be upfront with them and have a discussion about it, if its large enough they could get away with it. Especially if yoh are underpricing i definitely wouldnt go lower. Time and and materials are important, and unfortunately sometimes prices are hard to negotiate against machine made items.
