I put the balls into a pitcher when I crochet with them. Then they won’t roll away.

If i don’t wind it I usually just wind them into balls of yarn and like tuck the loose string into the ball so it (hopefully) won’t get tangled.
Also sidenote- i spent like over 2 hours untangling 1 ball of yarn yesterday…

if I get near the end of the skein and it starts getting like that I usually just wind it up into a ball, I don’t have a winder either I just start rolling. it is exhausting having to untangle it all

i literally just start pulling on random parts and hope it eventually comes loose
make sure to be listening to music or watching tv or smth in the background. makes things so much easier
