Help !!!

Hi guys:wave:

So im currently working on a new project. Its a Christmas Guinea pig c2c wich ive never done befor. I think its going well but im in a bit of a conundrum.

The Guinea pig is black and brown so i have no idia what colour to do the eyes. Heres some photos

And the chart

Sorry for the quality of the photos its eleven at night

They used a different shade of brown but i dont have any.

If i do black on one side it wont show and if i do brown one side wont show

I dont want him to have to doffrent color eyes but i think white would make him look possessed

So, help what color do you think i should use.

If you have some tan you could do that, or you could do a muted sage green or muted blue?

You could do black still and sew a white border around it maybe

Here is a chart showing the different color eyes that guinea pigs can have.
Have fun with it. I really enjoy doing c2c blankets. I did one that is a shelf full of books and one is a sunflower blanket that fits a king sized bed.

update !!!

Heres how its looking

I tried tan but he looked a bit creepy so then i tried the navey blue, it looked a bit to dark so i did the last cluster in white and i think im happy with it !!!

My only problem is that my yarns keep tangling together so if any one has any tips to prevent that, that would be brilliant

Thanks everyone for you color suggestions :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I can’t find my pictures right now (of course) but what I do is wind a bunch of yarn onto bobbins (or small balls) and work from those. I add to it when I run out. I do not use the skein at all once I start adding different colors.

This makes it much easier to keep it under control.

The most bobbins I have had at one time was 29.

Oooh thats a good idea it must leave a lot to weave in though. I googled arod abit and what ive started doing is i put all my cakes of yarn i a box and when i need one i take it out the box then once
I need a diffrent colour i put it back in the box. When you turn the work you turn the box to and it stops it from getting as tangled! The back is a bit messy but your not going to see that bit lol. Thank you for the tip though :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Here is a before and after of a C2C that I just finished tucking in the ends.

wow. your so talented

Something that I recently discovered is that tucking in ends is a whole lot quicker when you use a latch hook instead of a needle or crochet hook. It was less than 1/2 the time it would take me if I used those.
