i would first suggest starting with testing some patterns, and you can find many open tester calls in the Testing zone !
then, figure out exactly what you want to make. try to pick something simple for your first pattern.
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, use someone else’s pattern to try to construct yours! this has proven time and time again to be extremely problematic. just use your creativity and crochet knowledge!
then, you post a tester call. make sure you read the testing guidelines and know how to accept testers, make a group chat, etc.
after they’re all finished and you’ve fixed any mistakes in the pattern, you’re done! publish it :)
