I have had a purple 4.25 crochet hook fo literally about ten years. I think that one is my favorite because it’s been with me so long

I have three that I like to use 3.5, 4 and 4.5 mm they feel the comfiest in my hand.

A 1.5mm hook, simply because I love to crochet tiny things and my 4.5mm hook because it has a really comfortable handle

I use 5mm(or 6mm, i do that more often now with sweet snuggles lite) for literally everything. I pretty much crochet only with chenille yarn (#6 super bulky) bc i sell my plushies. Also 5mm is great for with acrylic to make hats/wearables.

im a 3.75! but i also use a 2.75 i use a 2.75 when using any yarn under a weight 2 and a 3.75 for a yarn weight of 3-4.
5-& i just use any size hook that works, usually a 4-5.75!
overall i love 3.75 its my clover amour hook!

i also prefer smaller hook sizes!
my favorite would be a 2mm, or 1.5mm for tiny amigurumis. I also like my 3.25 mm, as I use that hook for thinker yarns, and still tight enough to look clean!
