Hi everyone, I’m new here and wondering if Ribblr is a good place to sell my patterns. I make crochet flower patterns which are for the intermediate crocheter normally (I have some tagged Advanced Beginner). Well I’ve taken all day to get my first pattern onto Ribblr, and I ‘think’ I’ve done it correctly, but time will tell I guess. I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, and if anyone has any advice regards using Ribblr I’d love to hear it. Thanks everyone, Natagor
welcome! i can’t wait to see your flower pattern!
Hi
Thank you
So beautiful. I’m sure your flower patterns will be adored. I’d definitely look at them later in the year
Thank you so much, I’m liking the community feel here
Holy cow, I thought that was a real orchid! I say go for it! I’m always looking for some different patterns and I think you’d be a welcome addition to this community. We also have a testing area, if you ever need to test a new pattern you’ve written. Have fun!
Testing might be a good idea for your first pattern here. Just to see how it works.
Definitely a good place! I would consider posting a testing call as this is your first pattern here to make sure you got the hang of the Ribbuild but that’s up to you! If you do I would study up on it (also a new feature was added called Karma where users get 1 karma for completing a test and getting gifted the pattern from the designer it shows users completed a test but since it’s a new feature not everyone has it so take it as you will you can find it on a user’s makes) if not that’s fine as well Welcome to Ribblr and congrats on your first post if you ever have any questions/concerns/suggestions/etc feel free to ask!
Amazing!
Oh wow this orchid is so beautiful and welcome
Those flowers are beautiful
Welcome to Ribblr! Excited to see your flower pattern!
Thank you! I currently test my patterns on Ravelry, and this pattern has already been tested. But it’s good to know that that feature is here too
I see someone added your shop link, here is your pattern
Thank you
Thanks so much
Those are absolutely amazing!! Welcome to Ribblr!!
Hi there; welcome aboard! Given how eclectic the tastes of this community are, I’ve no doubt there is a market for your gorgeous flower patterns. When I saw your design in the search I said 'Woahly moly!!!" aloud and then immediately added it to my wishlist , and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one!
I don’t have much advice from a selling patterns standpoint, but I will echo what the more experienced here have said, especially as it relates to testing and whatnot! I would also add to not be shy about promoting the release of any future patterns in the community (with the relevant tags) and just being active in the community in general will helpe more people see your designs! I hope you find much success here, and we get to see more of your work.
